Florida Housing Finance Corporation (Florida Housing) was created more than 40 years ago by the Florida Legislature
with the mission of helping our fellow Floridians obtain safe, decent, affordable housing that might otherwise be
unavailable to them. We work with a number of local, state and federal partners to help make our programs a success,
including Realtors.
Florida Housing teaches an affordable housing course for Realtors that offers three (3) continuing education credits. The
course, titled “Affordable Housing Solutions: What Every Realtor Should Know,” is focused on Florida Housing’s Single
Family programs, including a discussion of home financing alternatives through low-interest rate mortgages, down
payment and closing costs assistance, and other programs.

NO SHOW AND CANCELLATION FEES:
No Show Fee – Any member who is registered for a non-paid event and fails to attend without proper cancellation notification will be assessed a No Show fee. Any member, who is registered for a paid event, has not paid by the registration deadline and fails to attend without proper cancellation *notification will be assessed a No Show fee in addition to the event fee.
Cancellation of Registration – Members registered for paid events who do not properly cancel* prior to registration deadline will not be eligible for a refund.
*Proper cancellation is written notification sent to the Association prior to the registration deadline. Written notification may be by email or note delivered to office.
